Requirements

The minor in Insurance is open to students of all majors (business and non-business).

Students fulfilling the requirements for the NMSU Math Department’s Actuarial Science and Insurance Emphasis earn a minor in Insurance.

Students pursuing the Insurance minor are encouraged (but not required) to seek internships with our industry partners and may  be eligible for insurance scholarships.

To register as a participant in the Insurance Studies program please complete the Insurance Program Registration form and deliver it to the Department of Finance, Business Complex Room 221. Once you register as a student in the insurance program, you will be provided more information on these opportunities.
